What's the difference between the non JBL?

 

The JBL is the what Toyota calls “premium audio” from the factory, it comes with 12 speakers total in the truck. Platinum, 1794, 2020-2021 TRD Pro tundras and some Limited trim tundras have it. If you have a Non-JBL tundra and install this, it will not work since it has a dedicated JBL amplifier to work with the JBL stereo head unit

 

I’ll be watching this thread…I have one that I think I’m ready to part with, been running my aftermarket Android head unit for years now, think it’s safe to say it works great and there’s no going back to factory …GLWS!!

Does the complete unit and ENTIRE screen work properly?
Mine lost the bottom half of the screen a year ago, non-responsive.

Also do you have a pic of the rear plugs, my truck is 2014 1794 and I have read conflicting reports that only 2014 and 2015 are interchangeable.

How can we do a secure transaction so neither of us get ripped off?
I've been here on this board off and on for a few years now coming from the 4Runner boards when I upgraded to the Tundra.

Hello, the stereo works 100 percent, touch screen and everything, I don’t where you read about the plugs but from 2014-2019 tundra JBL trucks have the same connectors no matter what year from 2014-2019, I can send you a pic of my connectors if you like, they are all the same. Send me a PM
