    Yeah this is crap.
My dealership honors it as long as it’s a Toyota part/box/packaging

Did you notice if the wheels poke out more or less than your previous spacer lift?

I’ll be going from stock to TRD lift. seems like the westcott guys recommend a (+) offset, but wasn’t sure if they would be too tucked with the new suspension.

They poke out quite a bit. I’m actually swapping to +35 wheels. Hopefully they don’t rub

it's a very aggressive stance, a little too aggressive for my taste

If any could really take a solid comparable MPG measurement before and after the TRD lift, it would be really really appreciated. Thanks for all of the updates so far.

Would Toyota be able to install this but keep the Fox shocks from my pro on?

Technically yes. The kit is designed for 3”. So this kit with the Westcott Trd Pro Kit.

I think he's referring to installing the kit on a TRD Pro with the exception of swapping the Fox shocks for the Bilsteins included in the kit.

If I was to get a 3rd Gen, I'd consider this kit on a Platinum but with the TRD Pro shocks as well. Hopefully someone goes that route and shares the deets! :)

Yes hence the referral to Westcott lift to achieve 3” on the Pro Suspension

    UPDATE:
local dealership won't honor warranty on truck parts that may be affected by the TOYOTA ENGINEERED AND APPROVED parts that come with their own 3 year warranty. Talked to Toyota brand engagement rep and they explained each dealership kinda runs their own show. Crap in my opinion. Toyota USA did contact another dealership in my state and they have a great service manager. He is excited to put his best guy on their first TRD lift on the 22 tundra. He gave me a fair quote and agreed to come in under but if they go over he will eat it. He spent a good 20 mins talk with me and I feel really good about working with that dealership. They will honor the factory warranty for both the truck and the parts. I won't get flagged in the system for warranty denial which is what would have happened with my local dealership.

this will come at a cost for me personally but I am ok with it. This dealership is 2 hours away and I will need to give them 3 days to get it done. I expect a day and a half but I appreciate them asking for more time upfront and hopefully coming in under. This means I will have to take some time off work and be without my truck. Other options are to do a turn and burn, drop it off and rent a car, jam back home and rent a car again to pick it up. logistics. again, I am cool with this arrangement since it is my only option to retain warranty and get the job done well by a service department that is said to pay their guys well and value their employees. That means a lot in my world.

    none... YET
I took my tundra in yesterday to get a panel buffed which had some residue from transit wrap. While I was there I asked my service person about the TRD lift. She told me me “the lift is $2,200 and it takes 4 hours or roughly $600 to install”. I kind of smirked and confirmed that was for the 2022 tundra and she confirmed. I wish I could have gotten an email or something in writing for that price. Not that they would honor it I’m sure. But I sent her an email today asking for a quote and gave her the part number. Haven’t heard back yet but I’m sure she will come back with some $6-$7,000 quote…

i got a quote for 20 hrs. Initially they said it was 10 hours and me being an upfront person, I suggested it is a complete front suspension replacement, not the standard lift kit they assumed. I’m good with it. Rather not be pissed later when they come back and hit me higher because they didn’t have all the info yet. They are giving me service shop rate which is 88 vs 120 for normal shop rate. I appreciate that!

Is the warranty covered if it’s dealer installed?

I can install myself and just wondering if I would lose the warranty aspect if I did it.

From everything I have been told if its not installed by a dealer and Toyota certified techs then you have no warranty.
