I purchase a 22 Tundra in 09/22 and have 23k miles. Purchased installed by a local reputable Truck and Trailer shop. Started receiving low voltage power steering warning and lost power of steering. Took it to the dealership and they informed me that the connection to the battery is causing false signals resulting in the lost of power steering. Completely disconnected the power running boards. False signals stopped. Amp Research is blaming Toyota. Has anyone had the same issue with AMP Research or any after market products requiring direct connection to the battery? If so, any insight into a resolution will be appreciated. This will be my 4th set of AMP Research running boards and first time having an issue. Thank you

No such problem with mine and this is the first time I have heard of this. I'd tend to believe the battery connection issue, especially since you have to mess with the battery connection while installing the AMPs. Double check that, clean the terminals, then reconnect the AMPs and see what happens.
