22 Fan clutch failure

    Curious if anyone has had a fan clutch go bad. My 22 Limited, non hybrid sounds like a jet taking off. The fan clutch is staying engaged all the time. Happened one other time but only lasted a day and went away. Now doing it all of the time. Have close to 42k miles.

    It can certainly happen, at least its not getting stuck unlocked so you dont get adequate cooling.

    Seems like a problem for a dealer to me on a truck in warranty. Although, being Toyota, they will probably tell you its a wear item and should be replaced at every oil change or something dumb.
