    Lift, 35’s
    Howdy!,

Recently purchased a ‘24 Tundra Limited with TRD off road package. It was factory lift and aftermarket 35s all from installed from Toyota dealer. I was skeptical at first with all the bad reviews for 3rd gens but with research, asking friends who know Toyota, and chatGPT hahaha, I went with buying one. I do have one question, are the k and n filters not good for 3rd gen engines? (Not the CAI but the filters you’d get from autozone) not looking to tune the truck but would be cool to hear the turbos and I figured that would help. Also if anyone knows how to disable the seat belt chime, that’d be great too (I’m still gonna wear it) Thanks in advance.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! If you're talking about the oiled K&N filters that are not replaced, but cleaned and re-oiled every 30k miles or so, then I believe the consensus is that they are NOT good. I used them for years with no ill effect, but after more reading and research, I went to using only Purolator or OEM air filters, non-oiled. Less trouble to maintain as well.
