2024 Tundra front camera stops and no cruise control

My new 2024 Tundra SR5 front crash avoidance camera stops working and dealer can't find the problem. Not all the time which makes it hard to pinpoint the problem. Often. when I shut the engine off and start again it will go away. Sometime not.

 

Mine is currently doing this for the second time in a year. I started a thread about it the first time it happened. I didn't get any definitive answers.

It's definitely NOT from the camera being obstructed in any way.

And you are correct, it's frustrating because it's intermittent and difficult to reproduce for a warranty claim. It renders the radar cruise and crash detection inoperative, so it's actually a safety concern.

 

The camera in the windshield is the problem. The third time I brought the truck in even the speed limit sensor stopped working it works for a minute are so then just shows 30 MPH. Next week they are replacing the camera. My salesperson told me to bring it in every time it screws up to show a pattern.
