New member here, just purchased my first Tundra a 2024 4x2 twin turbo gas engine, have not even made the first payment and now hearing about the engine recalls. So far, my vin is not showing up in the recall list. Do you think this is just a matter of time. A bit nervous! (former F150 owner (2016 and 2017 year) after starting to have so many issues with these F150's after 100K miles I figured I would get reliable Tundra??

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Toyota has a pretty good track record of making things right when they have recalls. You might be a little inconvenienced IF yours is affected, but I would not worry too much about it.

I picked up new 2024 in sept 2023 and am worried with recalls. I have since last week I am thinking to to trade to low milage 2021 as an open engine fix at a dealership will only add more issues. thoughts ?

I just purchased a 2023 Tundra Platinum a few weeks ago (August 2023 build). It is not on recall list either, as of now. Absolutely love the truck. Is it unnerving to think. that the engine could crap out? Absolutely! But, seeing how other trucks on the road have recall issues too....there is just no getting around it. I do believe Toyota will make it right, should something happen. Just drive it and enjoy it. IF something goes wrong, Toyota will fix.
