I have a 2023 Tundra that went into the dealer 11/21/24 with engine noise and the dealer told
me the engine needed to be replaced per the recall. It is now 5 months later and still nobody
at Toyota can tell me when this will happen. They give me crappy loaners. I would love to go get a new Ford 150 but I done have a vehicle to trade in. My first Toyota and it sucks.

Are you sure your VIN is covered by the recall?

Or is your truck outside the recall? The latter would require a rebuild rather than a whole new engine.

Either way, that dealer sounds terrible, and I would be making noise with Toyota corporate to force some forward motion on the issue
