2023 Rear outer window seal pops up/ Backordered?

Hey all,

I have been reading many have had issues with the gap in the rear window seals. I have a bit of a different issue with my rear passenger bottom seal popping up where it bends. This truck is a few months old!!!

Has anyone else fixed this by getting a new seal?

Btw I tried the search which brought up a ton of random unrelated posts.

Not too common for a ‘23. Just take it in for a new one. I know, it’s a PITA!!

 

Gotcha, I guess I'll have to then. They should be able to service this at the nearest toyota dealership no? My dealership is an hour away is why I ask.

Hi all,

I followed up with my closest dealership today. They told me there are 400+ backorders for this rear passenger outer window seal replacement.

Has anyone else come by this information, and/ or can anyone on this forum verify this?

 

I have a 2024 CrewMax and both rear window seals (back edge) have massive gaps… allowing water to pour in, but surprisingly no noise of note. I worked in the auto industry as an engineer on door trim, so know this is not right. The triple seals on the door allow water (which will come in the window seals some) to run out the bottom of the door panels… none should get into the vehicle… but this gap is unacceptable.

 

Have you taken your truck to the dealer for the window seal gap? If so what did they say?
