Anyone else notice when the truck is driving down the road and the LTA is active if you hold the radio power button to restart the radio you get a LTA malfunction please see dealer. If you turn it on and off again it disappears. A silly issue, wondering if anyone else has had this happen? Usually if my phone is having an issue connecting for apple car play.

I get the LTA malfunction and parking brake support. Once the head unit comes on the warnings go away. I’ve had the truck a year and it does that almost every time I reset.

Good to know. Not really an issue but a glitch with the infotainment I’m assuming.

That’s due to the location of the interior cabin camera that is located in the radio observing drivers facial expressions assuring that the driver is not falling asleep. It’s part of the LTA function….

I looked through the LTA section in the manual and didn't see an interior camera mentioned. Where you joking?

My apologies for the confusion. Yes it was a joke.

Good. I know the truck spys on you by critiquing your driving. so an interior camera was plausible. It also knows if your hands aren't on the wheel. Guess I cant drive with my knees while eating a burger:)

We love our new Tundra, but compared to the 22 F150 we traded out of, LTA has a long ways to go. In my F150, I could literally let the truck drive itself for about 30 seconds or so. Half the time LTA doesn't even want to come on. I suspect it needs to be calibrated.

That makes sense. NC doesn't have the best roads.
