I purchased this new in 2023 and so far I've not had any issues with the truck other than the notorius flaking in the front, my engine wasn't on the recall list or anything. I've not had an issue with the seat plastic cracking. Just noticed a MPG loss when putting my lift on. But it's weird because it feels like the truck is sluggish down low now almost like the truck knows I put a lift on it and the ECU changed like the shifting point changed IDK. but it's only at lower rpms. I've had Tundras in the past and it didn't feel like this. Anyways I love the Truck, wish I would have got the TRD OR package however it wasn't available on the platinums in 23.

I had the TRD Pro wheels for a bit but I wanted a little more poketruck with atv.jpg Tundra 4.jpg Tundra 3.jpg Tundra 1.jpg suspension.jpg

I have the full RC 3.5 suspension lift, I installed it myself along with the Ready lift axles.
RRW 18x8.5+25 RS7 monoforged wheels. these weigh 21.5 lbs each,
Bridgestone 295-70-18 tires. Basically a 35" and they only weigh 56lbs each so I'm right about where stock wheels and tires are. I didn't want a heavy set up. My stock platinum wheels with the Nittos were over 90lbs.

a lot of people Rag on the RC kits however they are a direct copy of the Fox kits and I love that they are ride height and dampening adjustable. way better than the TRD Lift Kit.
