2023 Platinum New with driver door locking isue

    I have a new 2023 (less than 3k miles) Platinum Tundra that the driver door will randomly lock itself (driver door only). It has done this since day 1. Has anyone else had this issue? The dealer has replaced the door actuator and this did NOT fix the issue. It is NOT a setting or safety feature. The truck will do it when parked with engine off, keys in the truck, keys in the house. Also with engine running while parked with key in the car. It is random and not repeatable but does it many times over a weeks period of time. The truck is currently at the dealer at this time again to try and figure it out. Any known fixes or others with same problem?

    Odd seeing all these door lock issues these past couple of days on top of the fuel line leak. Perhaps I’ll get a leading role in the “Final Destination 12” movie. Thank goodness for my resqme tool.

    Kid aside, did they replace the handle as well?

    You can do a reboot by holding the volume button in for about 5 seconds... I've had to do it a few times when I lost connection to my android auto... for some reason, if I get out of cell service, and then get back into it, it gets confused from time to time.

    Last week the truck was at dealership 2 x with no fix. Back in the shop Monday of this week with same exact issue, they kept the truck until Tuesday afternoon disconnecting the ambient light package to see if LED were causing interference. Nope that was’t it, back at the dealer today and now Toyota Regional Tech is going to work on it next week. Dealer and Toyota have been very good trying to figure this out AND are very interested in the cause and potential of further Tundras having the same issue.

    My truck has been at the dealership for 3 straight day now with outside Toyota field rep trying to figure the issue out. There are more new Tundra owners coming forward with the same issue. Report it to National Toyota customer service and get a case #. Owners are being told by their dealers they have not heard of the issue and can’t reproduce it. Take many videos, If you’re having the issue lets work together. I have many videos I can share.
