2023 Mustache wrap color question

Hello all

first post as I’m about 2 weeks out of my first Tundra. Midnight Metallic Black 2023 SR5 TRD off road package. Unfortunately the off road package adds the chrome mustache and bumper tabs. Planning to DIY vinyl wrap both. I will also be swapping the front grill for the TRD Pro grill (either from goodmatchup or the yota garage) because it just looks better in my opinion. For the mustache, should I try an match the paint color (ie gloss black) or the grill (more of a matte black)

just looking for opinions and also best place to buy wrap.

fyi - I have never vinyl wrapped but am confident In my diy abilities.

Match the body color. If you match the grill it just makes it look even more massive than it already is

Makes sense. Newly painted mustache is probably the best way to go, but was hoping to save some money with diy vinyl wrap. I don’t think my wife would tolerate much more of an investment than the purchase itself!

anyone know of a vinyl wrap that will match oem paint midnight metallic black? My Google skills are failing me.

 

sr5 is factory color match surround I believe, unless you get trd sport or trd off-road package

 

Would you mind posting a pic of your current colors? Or sending one privately? I was wanting a SR5 to get rid of all chrome parts and have color matched everything. But I also wanted TRD OR. It looks like on the build website that adding the TRD OR forces you to get chrome, which I think you are confirming and wanting to change, but I never fully trust the website because it is not always consistent. And I’m certainly not going to find a truck on the lot to go confirm myself…

 

truck is ordered and should be getting in next week. When I get it I’ll take a picture and post. Would be awesome if they kept the color matched trim. I’ll let you know for sure!
