I connected my Samsung S23 to the stock JBL, via bluetooth and discovered it decodes LDAC.
    That was a nice surprise.

I know CarPlay uses internal wifi connection, assuming Android Auto does same? Pretty sure that standard supports pretty high resolution audio uncompressed, but with some limitations, at least the wireless CarPlay. Wired should not have any bitrate/sampling limitations. I just use CarPlay as it auto connects wireless. Nice it supports LDAC for bluetooth though.

Mainly your source audio would need to be higher quality to start with to get any benefits. Apple Music supports different levels of lossless but you have to activate it in settings I believe. Spotify has yet to release 'lossless' options. Tidal or something downloaded at higher quality would work too.
