I have a 2023 Capstone set to arrive in a few weeks and am trying to order new rims. The capstone comes on 265/50/22 (8 inch rim) but I'm dropping to a 20 inch rim because of finding decent rubber for winter driving. Looking to put on 295/55/20. My question is does anyone know what offset the factory wheels come on? I have a 2 inch fender flare that I'm putting on a want put on a deep lip rim that will fill well without too much plastic trimming. I'm leaning towards a 20x10 over a 20x9 but am not sure how much issue if any I will have but need to know that factory offset before I can do anything.

Go with the 20x9. Aftermarket wheels will most likely be negative of factory offset. Meaning you’ll gain 1-2” poke

Thanks guys, here is some additional info I'm considering. I'm not a wheel expert so please any additional advice is appreciated. I want the setup to stick out further than factory but not too much more then 2 inches I'm gaining from the flares.

    20x9 -25 with a 4.98 lip
    20x10 -25 with a 4.98 lip

So it appears the offset and lip depth are the same whether I go with a 9 or a 10 inch rim. So what benefit or negative would I have with one over the other?

Please let me know if this looks correct to you as well.

Factory rims are +60 and these rims are -25 so the rim itself will stick out 85mm or 3.35 inches further then factory. Its likely that from factory they are a little inside the fender so if I put a 2 inch fender flare my rim will be sticking out approx 0.75 of an inch outside of my new fender flares. Plus however much the rubber sticks out past the rim.

Just image your track will increase by 6.5-8” total. Like having that elephant ear.
