Hi All! I just bought a used 2022 Tundra Limited from the dealer. 9,500 miles, clean and fast! I do have a few issues that need to be addressed by the dealer; but wanted to get your input on them to see if there is a easy DIY fix.

    - the cargo light on the back of the cab does not come on. Is there a separate fuse for those lights? or ground that is easily corroded that I can clean up?

    - 4Lo does not activate; no clunk, no light on dash...nothing. It goes into 4Hi easily as it should but the 4H light stays on when I switch into 4Lo. As if the switch is not telling the computer to engage the 4Lo. Is there a reset for that part of the system?

    Thanks in Advance

4lo has to be in 4hi first then put the transmission into neutral switch to 4lo.

Look for a separate cargo light switch on the lower left of dash by your left knee.
See attached and unless previous owner been wiring shit up and knowingly fucked something up a fuse should never just pop. Truck has three fuse boxs and I'll try to find the post for you so you can look foe the right ones. https://www.tundras.com/threads/2022-tundra-fuse-box-locations-designations.105568/

You have to be in neutral to go to 4Lo

    Thanks guys.

That light switch activates the lights in the bed and the one that lights up the hitch area. No dice on the upper cargo lights. The only mods I know of that the PO did was to add Air Lift kit on the back suspension with manual adjustment (didn't splice into the wiring for a pump)

My sequence to attempt to get into 4Lo: drive in 2W - switch into 4Hi (no problem and light indicator comes on the dash) - stop and put into Neutral and move slide to 4Lo (4Hi light still lit on dash, no other clunks, I've tried moving real slow and moving the steering wheel). I do not know if the PO was adamant about using the 4x4 once a month to keep the parts agile; so I've been driving in 4Hi on the road when I have a good straight away. It is as if the switch isn't telling the computer to go into Lo.

May have to get back with dealer to look into both, maybe the cargo lights are missing? To many can bus systems to mess up accidentally.

Not seeing any warnings I wonder if the switch was pulled trying to add the off road dial?
Do you have crawl control or off road mode?

Good point. I do not have crawl control or off road. Just drive and tow.
