I have a 2022 Tundra Platinum and was wondering if anyone knows if I can tow a 13K lbs. Travel trailer for a short distance (71 miles). It would be one flat ground from Bakersfield to Visalia Ca.

Can the truck pull 13k lbs? Sure.

Truck has enough power to pull much more than that. Probably won't be comfortable, terrible gas mileage and lots of squat even with a weight distributing hitch. The only real limitations are your bravery and what you're willing to risk.

Can? Probably. Should? No. The tool should match the job. You're gonna get on some road with other people in a grossly overloaded half ton truck pulling an HD load. God help you.

No, and that better be fully loaded wet weight or absolutely double no.

It'll eat all your 1300-lb payload before you even get into the truck either way.

Face it, the toys are getting to be too big and too heavy for a jack-of-all-trades daily driver half ton.
