    2022 Lunar Rock Tundra
Hello all. I'm brand new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I have a 2022 SR5 Tundra lunar rock on order. I'm currently drive a 2016 Limited 4Runner so I'm looking forward to the larger truck. The main reason for the change is because of the limited space when loading up to take the family camping or going on road trips. The 4Runner has been a fantastic vehicle, but we need a bit more space.

Hopefully it doesn't take too long for the build but not going to hold my breath with all the supply chain issues. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Welcome from CO. I too switched from a 4Runner to a Tundra and couldn’t be happier. 9D191EE3-D74E-47B2-B0C3-67EEA693895D.jpg375F5648-6350-4AE2-934D-91960758561B.jpg

    Awesome 3rd gen!

I had a 3rd gen, traded for a 5th gen then went to a 2021 Tundra Platinum. I do miss my 4runner but its super fun driving the Tundra.

05TacomaCo- love the way your truck looks!

Thanks. That was my 2nd 3rd gen I had and I loved it but my wife has a 5th gen and I needed a truck. I traded my 05 Tacoma for hers, and I was sad for 2 years not having a truck.

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota. I moved up from a 2000 4RUNNER to my 2021 Tundra. I tend to hold onto things that I like.

I got a surprise call from the dealership and it appears the truck I wanted came in on Thursday. I went and picked it up on Friday. It was bittersweet saying bye to the good ol' 4Runner.

I would have cried too leaving a 4R for a 22. Can you tell that I'm not a fan of the 22?

Congrats, and welcome to the forum. I traded in a 4Runner on my Tundra as well. It was the right move, and I don’t regret it, but I do miss that 4runner. What a great vehicle. I had a very mild lift and some stock size LT tires. It was a mountain goat. Trails are a bit tighter now, but all the space and power is worth it.

Thanks! It was tough letting the 4Runner go. Made some good memories with it, but I too was needing more space. The family road trips and camping trips were super cramped in the 4Runner. I wish I could've kept the 4Runner but financially couldn't make it work.

The 4Runner was reliable as heck. Hopefully, the new Tundra is the same.
