This is probably mostly for our friends north of the border, does anyone have the 2022+ OEM toyota side deflectors? Ive only heard of them in canada, along with the oem hood deflector. If you have the side ones, are they in-channel or tape on and how u like them? And pictures would be helpful if possible.. thanks

I’ve ran WeatherTech window deflectors on my trucks for over twenty years now. I’ve never had an issue on any of them. I’ve always went in channel, mainly because I don’t like the idea of sticking anything on the paint.

Yeah ive seen all the egr, avs, goodyear , aftermarket etc. but in canada you can get OEM Toyota brand, i was specifically interested in seeing if anybody on the forum had experience with the OEM ones. Thanks for all the feedback

Yup. I always run EGR in matte black in channels w/ an EGR super guard in matte as well. Ran the same on my taco for almost 8 years. Can't go wrong.PXL_20240221_213822741.jpg PXL_20240221_213830557.jpg

I've been trying to find them, here in Canada, but not successful, any more info you could share?

I've been looking at getting some, and OEM wouldn't be a bad thing, plus I'm in Canada!

My personal favorite is AVS. I've used that brand for 35 years & never had an issue with the stick on kind. I would never recommend the in channel ones.Screenshot_20241212_100634_Gallery.jpg

I put the AVS in-channel visors on my Limited earlier this year and had no issues.
Easy install if you do the cardboard trick (just don’t let the cardboard drop into the doors like I did on the back windows).

When I parked outside this is always what I used. Leave the windows cracked at night, ten years later the truck still smells fresh ( mostly spilled beer but you get the idea )
