    Hi Everyone,
I just bought my second Tundra, this one is a 2022 and I need some help with speakers/amp upgrades. I got my license in the mid 90's and I was the kid who had low budget 6x9's with one big JL Subwoofer that would rattle your soul. This truck has the jbl 6 1/2 on the doors with the 3, 3 1/2 on the dash and a sub behind the seat. My biggest issue is if i can get an adapter so that i don't have to splice wiring when i change the jbl amp to something aftermarket? Also, what is the best set for upgrading the speakers? Not sure if I should upgrade the doors and 2 on the dash or just the doors and leave the dash alone. I figured someone in here has been down this road before and might be able to shed some light on it for me. Everything I see on google is Taco Tunes, which I know nothing about but doesn't feel like the direction I want to go. Any help would be much appreciated!! Thank You!!

Probably 5 threads on page 1 that will help answer this question.

in short, most with the JBL systems start with a beatsonic which is plug and play. Once you go into a more comprehensive build with something like a 4-8 channel you’re getting into more complex jumper harnesses to bypass the JBL amp (see threads on this in this section).

would personally not bother with upgrading speakers if starting off with beatsonic amplifier only. If you go more complex, get the best 3 way components you can afford (I went with focal flax EVO 3-ways and VERY happy with them) and don’t worry too much on the rears as they are just for fill.
