    Hi all.
My 22 tundra main shaft busted at 73k so toyota wont fixed it because it out of powertrain warranty at 60k. So I am back and forth with toyota extended warranty for 5 months sitting in GA mall of Atlanta autonation before they rebuild the engine. Once I got it back. The battery die over night every night. I call them and they said it the battery issue. So I replace new battery from Costco and same issue. I bring it to Wesson autonation in florida for that problem. They did couples of recall and REPLACED my engine and jump start my truck to go home after couples day. Same dead battery over night pluse no electricity after engine turn off. Cold dead
Can't even lock the truck. Call them back and said might be bad battery again . I get a new replacement from Costco again. Same issues. I'll bring it back to Wesson autonation for them to check it out. This time they wanted $600 for extended diagnosis. I give up on toyota dealer and turn to thus forums for real end user help.
    Thanks in advance.

    Too many, but not enough....
Your battery drains overnight? Is your battery light on when trucks on? I would bet either bad alternator or more likely some kind of draw since they were likely not too careful with the job.

I know you're new, and you posted in the New Members forum. But I would post this in the 3rd Gen forum and/or the Ask the Toyota Mechanic thread. You'll likely get more responses in those places.

    Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)!

Sounds like it might have a loose connection and the battery isn't charging while the POS (truck) is running. Might be a loose or missing ground strap.
