2022 Tundra Infotainment problems

I have a new truck and the infotainment system is a hot mess. There are several issues with it but the main one is that I cant use it for phone unless I am running through Apple car play. However even with apple car play connected the radio does not mute when I talk to the system to tell it I want to make a phone call. I took it to the dealer on Tuesday and they still have it. I will update everyone if and when I get it back.

I just talked to the dealership and they are sending out an engineer . He said they deleted the system and reset it but no luck . He said someone from the region engineering department is coming out . I just left my vehicle there on Tuesday and caught a ride . The service adviser told me to come back and get a loaner vehicles as it could be a while .

 

Ouch! Now it sounds like a faulty head unit.
