Where can I pull 12vdc from interior lighting from on my 2022 Limited?

I want to add some access lighting to the floorboards, and want them on when the doors are open. I'm thinking there has to be somewhere to pull this from.

    Thanks in advance,
    Mike

Near the OBD2 port there's a small courtesy light turns on / off with the doors. Using the power to this light to open and close a relay will prevent overloading that circuit since you'll have to bring power straight from the fuse box via relay for your accent lights

Quite good info. I hope I have this light and it’s turned off. It’s quite dark in my cab and I can make this happen.

    Thanks, Mike

I went out to look for this and I apparently don't have it on my vehicle.

    Any other ideas?

    I don’t have an E brake. It’s a 2022 and is all electric.

There must be a light source in the foot well. Otherwise use 12V power from the dash. And buy a lighting unit that has a door open motion sensor might be easiest way.

It one of the gripes people have with below Platinum trip packages. Interior lighting is horrible. I really don’t see anything. I will keep looking and wait if someone may have. The answer.

I know yours is different.. but it's hard to think Toyota removed a very helpful courtesy lamp. On a 55k truck.

I agree. But complaints I have seen on YouTube is exactly that there is no lighting at the feet areas. I will search some more. If I find it before someone chimes in, I will update.
