2021 Tundra Trail Dashboard Problem

I bought a 2021 Tundra Trail Edition used and found out some of my dashboard lights don't work like on my steering wheel, shifters (P,N,D,) don't light up, and the Haul buttons under the speedometer don't light up. 2 dealerships have told me that they just don't light up... i've seen reviews of them working but in Canada. Anybody have any insight here in the U.S or have had a similar problem?

I’m not sure the solution but from the video it appears the truck thinks it’s still in daytime mode with the backlit lighting pretty much off except the gauge cluster and radio.

I’ve observed that condition flip back and forth going through tunnels

 

How do you work the back lighting?
