    Hello,

New to the forum and been searching for largest tires I could get on 2021 Tundra Platinum without any lift or modifications.

I see that 285/65 R 18 is the largest I can with little modification (Im thinking front mud guard take off? rather not trim anything if possible) but the wheels I was looking at is XD827 Rockstar III which is 18x9 with 00 offset. would that work?
From reading the posts I see that OEM is 18x8J which is 8.5.
First time doing wheels on any cars so I don't know if that would make a difference...

    Thank you

Keep looking over the stickies and posts in the tire/wheel forum here. Lots of great info with details on what works, pics, tire and wheel specs, etc.

0 offset pushes the tires way out. +60 offset is stock. So 0 offset is harder to fit often, tires can rub in several places. More common (and the sweet spot) for aftermarket wheels tends to be in the +18 to +25 range. Also, with 0 offset, you will be slinging dirt, rocks, etc down the sides of the truck- expect paint damage.

-As far as tires, you can actually fit up to a 285/70-18 on a stock truck with stock +60 wheels. I run 275/701/18 (33s) on stock wheels and suspension, not a hint of any issues or rubbing.

    Thank you for the reply.
dang.... need to look at other wheel options...
its so hard to find the right setup without any modification.
was thinking about lifting but then wouldn't be able to park indoor garages with a lift.
tundra barely makes it indoor as is...:(

You can filter based on size, offset, etc. LOTS of wheels out there in +18 to +25 which would fit much better for your application than 0 or negative offset. I am sure you will have no problem finding something you like.

    Thank you again.
customwheeloffsets seem like a good site for research filtering out what setups actually fit with mod or stock.

I swapped out just the tires for set of blizzaks. Same tire as yours. 275/55r20 +60.

I’m looking to change it to 18’s for non winter setup but haven’t decided yet. Still looking. Trying to stay stock height without any mods…but…not easy…keep debating whether to lift or not. Lol

I put fender flares on mine and a 3/2” level already so probably not what you’re looking to do.

    Tires I’m considering:

Toyo Open Country A/T or the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T

I want to choose tire and offset before I pick out wheels. I’m pretty concerned about the need to recalibrate the speedometer as the platinum has all the fancy accident avoidance and cruise control. I don’t know what happens to those. I’m in full research mode over here.

I’m not 100% sure but from what I’ve read I thought there was no need for the speedometer caliberation long as you don’t go over 33”. Also if the ready lift already in not giving you any problems, I think your good.
It’s so hard to get a definite answer to that cause from what I read some have problems and some don’t. Like it’s a hit or miss. But if you don’t have any problems now I think you’re good.

the tires I was looking at were
Nitto ridge and ko2. But seems like more people like nittos these days.
