2021 TRD PRO Front end noise going over bumps

So i have 2021 TRD PRO. It has 21k miles and when i go over bumpy roads there is this wierd clicking noise, it also does it when i turn the wheel left and right real fast. Sounds like something is shifting but i cant figure out where the noise is coming from. Anyone have this issue?

 

Did you get the power steering looked at due to recall?

 

I did not. I was not aware it had a recall.

 

Take it to your local Toyota dealership as there was def a recall on the power steering racks on the ‘21s about a year ago

Also check the bolts on the TRD skid plate. Are you running bigger tires or OEM?

I tried tightening the bolts on skid plate before and still same noise. I will loosen them back up now and put rubber in between to see if that does it.

 

I spray mine with a WD-40 type product and seems to work for several months on removing creak noise.

 

I purchased a 21 PRO a few months ago and had the same noise. I cut an old Husky floor mat to size and slid it in between the skid plate and the frame. It took care of the noise.

 

It’s the skid plate. I’m almost sure of it.
