I don’t know if anyone has noticed but i played around with the Toyota builder and it seems that SR5 DC/CM TRD OR doesn’t exist anymore. Can anyone chime in on this one?

    thanks

They still have it, it's under "Packages".

You have to select SR5 first.

Hit enter too soon. Edmunds list those models. I am sure if you call a Toyota dealer, they will confirm.

Dang that’s weird in my region the TRD OR only shows for Limited trim not SR5. I guess i’ll have to investigate then.

Just curious, can you buy a truck in the states if you live in Canada (beautiful country and people) and take it back up North?

I know guys who've done it, generally on luxury cars when the dollars are at or near the same value because even with the fees and taxes and whatnot, it ends up being cheaper. I don't know what the exact process would be, though.

Yes you can. Now the taxes involve and export/import fees do apply and invironmental impact fee. And if your car is not part of the US/Canada/Mexico trade agreement, you have to pay the tariff. Buying it cash will be the easiest way.

I was trying to do it the other way around a few months ago. Wanting to but a Tundra in Canada, ship it to Florida so I can pull my camper back to Canada. Too many red tape and covid-19 complications/ restrictions to make the transport possible.
