I can speak ONLY for the 2021 key fob. Mine just survived 3 hours in the Atlantic Ocean while surfing. Found out when my son finally decided to ask me why it was clipped to my suit. As I’m pooping my pants taking it apart, I open it to find a completely dry interior. Truck opened, locked and started without a hitch. Brought it home and opened it again not believing this could be true, still dry.

Left mine for my 21 on the hood of my car overnight during a monsoon rainstorm. Works just fine. Popped the battery cover off and completely dry inside.
