Is this the notorious “firmware” failure that seems to pop up - an issue with my replacement amp/speakers or ??

So I started the truck up yesterday and saw a uo/down arrow and three letters (DSP) - it clearly is in and connected to my phone - but no sound.

Flip over to XM and same issue - the up/down arrows and DSP disappear but no sound.

When I select the balance/equalizer functions - they are blacked out and not adjustable- which leads me to believe it is the radio and not the speaker/amp.

Dealer can take me on Friday - just found the radio reset button sequence yesterday - but wanted to see if this is the known issue that seems common and if I should even mess with trying to reset - vs just allowing the dealer to be able to replicate the issue and address it.

My 2019 Tundra has the same thing happen. My dealer is replacing the amplifier which has been ordered, Makes me wonder if I should get an extended warranty.

Issue with mine resolved on restart.

With mine it’s NOT an amp issue - as I replaced the factory amp.

Highly suspect software conflict/issue at update and restarting put it back to the “prior” software - but when it updates next time there’s a chance this could occur again.
