I have a question for everyone. I have a 2021 Tundra that I just bought in August. It’s a TRD Off Road with this climate control. I keep my air conditioner running always, I never shut it off. I’ve noticed lately (I don’t know if it’s been like this since I bought the truck as I’ve just noticed recently), whenever I get in and start the engine, the air conditioner is off. It seems to do this on its own. Is this normal, and is there anywhere in the settings on the touchscreen to stop it from doing this? I’m bringing the truck into the dealer on Tuesday to have a couple of things installed, so I’m going to ask him to look into this.

Ac seems to be outside temp dependent these days. When its senses colder than whatever set point it will turn it off

Interesting. My 2020 AC maintains the settings. I have gone weeks without touching it and it stays where I last put it.

If you have auto air, it should just adjust between heating and cooling to maintain the temperature you set it for.

That would make sense for my platinum.

It seems I have to turn it on every time I get in and start the engine. I know it’s one of those “first world problems,” but it’s still annoying.

I also have a 21 with the auto climate and it stays exactly on what my settings were prior. AC yes/no, Temp, Driver passenger sync, everything stays the same.

OP I’ve noticed the exact same thing in my 21. AC was on 68 and it was blowing warm air. Very strange.
