I have read numerous threads with bits and pieces and nothing exactly on point showing what they improved.

I'd like to improve my depth of sound with the factory head unit. I really would like to keep the visible finishes as factory as can be. So without hacking the door panels, or dash cover, is this possible? I've been spoiled driving Lexus ML systems for the past twenty years. So I'm not looking to thump the vehicle next to me or two lanes over, rather able to hear the instruments and depth of sound.

    Thanks,
    Randy

Biggest part lacking on the factory JBL is the sub, there’s a tech12volts replacement unit with a new box that uses everything else from the stock system. I found that makes it adequate

I sent him an email this AM. The vendor page with his info doesn't list a web page?

    Thanks,
    Randy

Factory head unit has no depth of sound no matter what you do.
