    2020 Tundra TRD Sport Premium
    Stock for now
    Hi Toyota nation,

I'm really happy to announce that I'm getting a 2020 Toyota Tundra TRD Sport Premium this upcoming week! I'm excited to trade-in my 16 Ram Sport for a Tundra. It's always been a dream to own a fully loaded truck and I find it's decent that they have apple carplay+android auto. No, I couldn't afford a TRD PRO. Crazy interest they have on them!!!!! I feel kind of lucky that my truck will be coming straight from the factory (Texas) to Northern Ontario! It will have 0km on it :)

Interior mods that I plan: (weathertech, get rid of the chrome inside with vinyl and add the plastics that covers up the middle console parts and more) buy another set of wheels/tires and black out some badges.

Exterior mods: Tires/Wheels (once I get by these stock tires), black badges, back rack (not sure if it's a good idea with the whole window that goes down, does it create a draft?). Tonneau cover and predator step bars.

Performance wise: What will I do with this truck ? Mostly highway and hauling my Outlander 1000r. I plan on putting a S&B Cold air intake as they are designed with quality(I had one on my Ram). I like having the engine screaming for more but I am refusing to add exhausts or headers on this bad boy for a little while anyways. I wonder how you can get the max out of the engine without supercharger? Exhausts, intake, programmer, throttle body, am I missing something? If there's any other ideas, except a supercharger because money doesn't grow on trees, let me know. I'm willing to keep my mind semi-open haha

I was wondering if some of ya'll could help me by sharing some mods you have done to your truck. Especially if it's a third GEN :)

PS: I live where there's a lot of salt but would you add the undercoat that Toyota sells for 800-1000 or would you just go every year for 150$? Canadian prices...

I'll make sure to share some pictures as soon as I can! Cheers!

Welcome to the forum. For mod suggestions you might want to elaborate on what you plan to do with the truck. If you are going to be off roading it a lot you'll get different suggestions than if you want a monster truck mall crawler. Give us a bit of insight into what your goals are, and you'll have a bunch of people giving suggestions.

A cost saving alternative to the weathertech (if it works the same up north) https://www.tundras.com/threads/gator-floor-liners.56139/
