Yours came with a 4x4 badge? What did you do with it?

 

I think if you don't get the TRD package with the bed stickers, the tailgate has the 4x4 badge. At least that's what ive noticed. And I don't think theres a TRD Platinum right?

Over in the 3rd gen for sale subforum is a pretty gosh darn good deal on a TRD front skid plate and a rear TRD sway bar. Sorry. Can't recall if it's "local pickup only" or not.

 

I'll ask the husband where it went.

 

No TRD Platinum in 2020 - I wish though...the husband is getting sick of doing my mods

How do you like the intake??

 

I cant really tell a difference. In the drivers seat, afyer adding the dual exhaust, I hear a helicopter type of thumping when going uphill, but I dont hear it in the passenger seats. The intake addition didnt really change that. The husband is going to add a weather stripping around the horn to prevent dust from getting into the engine.

TRD skid plate - hard to see without a lift
TRD front sway bar - also hard to see. Has tightened the turning

Addictive Design Honey Badger Side Steps - lights were difficult to wire. The instructions are poor. And the included wiring parts are inadequate. After installing by following the instructions, the step lights would not shut off.

Did you have to remove the door panel to replace the front door handle?

Truck looks great

 

For the 2019, you do not have to remove the panel. For the 2020, they added remote entry handles. The power source for the handle is inside the door. So, we had to remove the panels for the front handles. This added SO much time to the install. But, after figuring it out on the first one, the second door was quick.

Looks amazing! Not sure if you want to upgrade the puddles to LED so that the running boards and puddle lights are the same hue
