I'm a bit late to the party but figured I'd give this thread a bump to let people know that they are still out there. After my local dealer said it would be 8-18 months to get one and ordering on online and then being told they didn't have one I was able to get one in magnetic grey here https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/accessories/toyota-sequoia-front_grille.html they did want a vin and mileage but that is easily enough to find in sale listings. Now I just need the weather to cooperate so I can paint it super white. 20240206_174653.jpg

I wonder why the price is $300+ when the other grills on the same site are $700+?

No idea, I was skeptical they could even get it but I called and they said it was available so I took a gamble and it paid off. And the shipping was actually reasonable, some places wanted $300 for shipping...

Howdy! Joined to share the results from doing this mod on our 2008 Tundra SR5 in Timberland Mica with 280K miles. Ordered the Ebay Umnitza set and had a local dealer paint it. Got the brackets and needed hardware from the dealer as well and got the green badge off Amazon. We decided to clear the logo as well. B55759DD-6A0A-4C3A-BFB7-F08CF8A8103F.jpg

looks great! How much are you guys paying to get the grille painted? I'm trying to decide if I should paint or vinyl wrap.

After trying and failing the wrap route, I am dropping off the grill pieces and the filler panels under the headlights to get painted for about $500 next Monday. I tried colorxlabs.com color match vinyl and it would not stay down. I wrapped it myself the 1st time and then paid a shop to try and it still peeled back. I wish I would have just gone straight to paint as the vinyl wrap costs me $460 total.

So I forgot to take a before pic with the old grill on, but I originally did a satoshi grill and retrofitted HID’s back in 2008. I had the grill surround and bumpers line-x extraed in an attempt to get rid of the chrome and body matched, and it was decent however, front and rear fender benders over the years returned the bumpers to chrome, and the grill was just looking old and tired. I went with the Vland headlights, and Sequoia grill which I de-badged, and filled with aluminum mesh. The grill was originally dark grey, and I tried to wrap with Colorxlabs.com mentioned earlier in this thread, but the film was cheap and kept lifting. I tried to wrap it, and then took it to a professional, and it still lifted. So after wasting $460 total trying to wrap it, I spent $560 getting the grill and filler panels painted locally. Below is a pic with the old lights and the grill in front then finished with both grill and lights.

Looks great! I just dropped off my grill to be painted. I was going to wrap also but decided against it because of your experience.

Guessing Black is still backordered everywhere? Previous owner of my 2019 Sequoia put a magnetic grey pro grill on it. Might just try my hand at painting it with one of those spray kits on Amazon with base, top coat, and clear.

For those of you who did the Sequoia bumper cover as well, what extra parts did you need for the cover support?

Has anyone recently been able to buy an OEM grille (any color)? My order from Ourisman was canceled and they say Toyota completely discontinued them. Looks like everyone's stock has been depleted
Just exhausting my options before I go with the Chinese aftermarket
