My father is picking up a 2020 TRD Pro and wants to put his winch on from his 18 Limited. The aftermarket company said it wouldn’t work because of the sensor being low and that the 2020 Pro is not compatible to anything they sell. Is this true or are there any other options?

Mighty Mouse suction cupped to the review 8 ball shifter. Driver side "Oh poop" handle. Smoked side window deflectors. ReadyLift TRD PRO +2 for front. 1.5" ProFormFab Shackles + 1" ToyTec block for rear. SDHQ Hidden winch mount with Badlands 9000 winch. 305/70r18 Cooper Discoverer STT PRO
I had a '18 TRD Sport that i put a Westin winch mount with a homemade grille guard but when i traded for the Pro i bought the SDHQ hidden winch mount just to be safe with the lowered sensor.

The whole winch fits behind the bumper with no problem

i wouldn't say no problem but yes. It is designed around the Warn Zeon Platinum style winches which is a remote controlled winch with no free spool knob. I was able to install a Badlands 9000 with some finessing.

I just picked up the SDHQ hidden winch mount with the Warren Zeon Platinum 12K wireless winch, but I'll have to wait 'till June to install it.

He really wants to use his existing push bar with winch set up. It didn’t cause a problem in his limited and I know the sensor is a tad lower in the pro. I just didn’t know if blocking the sensor a little will mess things up. Has anyone put a push bar or something like that on an 18+ Pro

What brand does he have? Who is the aftermarket company? All have different size bars. Need more info or a pic.

I’m not sure what kind of bar it is. It has a tray for his warn winch and it’s a standard push bar with a top bar and another bar that is right above the winch. It looked like when both trucks were side by side that the bar above the winch would somewhat be blocking the sensor but it also sits a good few inches out. I wish I had a pic. His sensor never flashed on the old one, mine would flash all the time with nothing in front of it, but I also think there was a recall on my 18 limited
