2019 Wiper Cowl Removal?

I need to remove the wiper cowl. I know that you pop the two plastic pins on each side, remove the wiper arms, and then the cowl is supposed to pop off. But the plastic clips holding it in place are really stuck. Do they just pop out, or do you have to pinch the clips in order to release them? Any help?
