Find a 2018 pay even less...same truck from what I've seen. Only thing changed is the year. Dealers still loaded with 2018s. Mine had been sitting on the lot since 11/2017...just bought a couple weeks ago.

Yep, I went the other day to see what had changed from my 2018 to 2019 and that's all that I saw that had changed was the year. Everything looked exactly like my 2018. Glad I didn't hold out for the 2019. Good thing is I bought mine in Dec last yr and have not even tuned over 5000 miles. Only time I drive it is to the farm and weekends and every once in while to work. Mainly we drive the wifes Highlander. Interesting though I saw a 2017 Tundra at the dealership , I'm sure someone could get a heck of deal on that one.

It depends on what the dealership has invested in the 2017. But, I’m sure a great deal is in there somewhere.

Got my 2018 Tundra in July with the 2000$ rebate, traded a 2017 Tacoma Off Road. Used my 2015 Sequoia to pull a 26 ft. travel trailer did a very good job from the west coast to the east coast. I put 6800+ miles on the Sequoia but since it is my wife car I decided to get the Tundra Limited, didn't want to spoil the Sequoia.:oldglory:

Dealers will be sending these 2018s to auction here in the next month or so... doubt theyll have much other option. You could really grind them for a deal right now on a 2018.

18 and work a deal. They both have the sucky radio--so figure that in to your budget.

Seriously ? Send a new truck to auction ? Why would the dealers do that when I still see some dealers around me with 2017 new Tundras still on the lot ??

Wouldn't they keep the 2018 on the lot hoping to wrangle some customers from the 2019 that won't discount much and get them into a 2018?
