New to the forum and longtime Tundra owner. I currently own a 2014 TRD Sport and have been shopping for a 2019-2021 TRD Pro and came across a great looking 2019 Pro with a 6" Readylift and 37" Nittos, the truck has 18k on the odometer. I live in Puerto Rico and work remotely so the average miles I put on my truck on an annual basis is under 5000 miles. Just looking for advice on if anyone would advise against making this purchase?

Thank you Boss! The dealer built it out and it was never clapped out off road, was used just as a weekend cruiser. What do you think? He is offering me $25k for my truck which I'm fine with.

Welcome from NC! Good looking truck but I have never been a fan of spacer lifts especially one of this height….I bet the ride is pretty horrendous.

pretty truck. That much lift and such large tires can be an issue depending on use. Great offroad. Harder to deal with on road. You won't be hauling and towing heavy with that so it could fit your needs depending on what you need the truck for.
All- not looking to debate the fact that some of you may tow your 33 foot, 9000lb camper with 8 inches of lift and 40s. Generally- the more lift and bigger the tire, the less the truck will be able to fully do truck things well. 37s are huge and take away from payload and towing ability, just fact and not dissing those with similar mods towing 5th wheels.

Check and see if it has been regeared, 529s. It will need that with 37inch tires, or factor that in $$$ if that has not been done yet. Also know it looks like a bracket lift. Readylift is a cheaper brand as well, so maybe check some reviews on that lift. Don't like the huge lift blocks on the leafs, should be replaced with lifted leafs. Oh, and with a bracket lift, they often need to have the crossmember cut to install, so keep that in mind. Cut crossmember can be a deal breaker for some.

With any more heavy modded truck, check it all out and make sure the parts used and work performed are up to par. And of course, no price listed so that is a huge factor. That truck at 55k is one thing and may be a good buy, that truck costing 70k is another.

Thanks for the valuable information, I really appreciate any insight and advice. Listed at 58k, I wouldn't be hauling anything. Primarily just driving to the beach on the weekends which are just down the hill and light trail use, not crawling or hammering on it, just accessing beach's.

While so many folks like to dump on the budget lift kits, they aren't all bad. I bought a 6" Readylift and ran it on stock (TSS) wheels and 35" rubber for some time. I didn't have a harsh ride and it never made me regret a thing. I didn't offroad much but I did go on the beach with it and never had issues.

I ultimately replaced the spacers with coils and did a block delete in the rear but the change in the ride is hardly vast.

For $29k you could build your truck into something way better than that truck.

True but he'd get more for this one on paper due to the bedstamp

You could swap out the bed and still have 23k to work with :)
