I put together this information when I was deciding on tires for my truck. I came across the spreadsheet today while I was cleaning out some files and thought some of you might be interested. I had narrowed my choices through research to a handful of tires and wanted to be sure I could safely fit them with no modifications.

    upload_2019-2-27_11-20-21.jpg
Red is the stock 2019 tire. The blue is what I went with (no modifications).

(edit: corrected highlight for tires I chose)

Im going to guess that you'll have rubbing issues with 295/70/18 with stock wheels (+60 offset).
You will need to remove with front flaps for sure and modify the fenders liners (trim or heat).

    Good Luck....

No issues with any rubbing (front flaps still included). Been running these since the day I purchased (Oct '18).

REALLY appreciate the chart and will keep it as a reference. Have 25k on the stock tires and I'm not eager to spend the $$$ until I need to, but researching. I've always thought the tires looked "small" in the wheel-well of the Pro.

This is TRULY a newbie question on tires, though. I park in a giant parking garage and the antenna taps the roof of the building as I drive in, but then not again. I'd like to get 285/70 18's. Which would be slightly larger and the pics I've seen show they fill the space better....but, how much taller with the overall Pro be? I've not done any mods or anything...

    Many thanks for the help!

Is it possible to run 35's on '19 stock suspension/wheels? If not, what modifications would be required? I poked all around google and these forums and couldn't find anything that directly specified. Thanks!

you should update your table so that the width is based on your specific wheel width, rather than on the manufacturer's measuring wheel.

every 1/2 inch of wheel width adds or subtracts 0.2 inches of tire width.
for example, looking at the 295/55/20 ridge grapplers from nittos site:
    https://www.nittotire.com/light-truck-tires/ridge-grappler-light-truck-tire/

it shows an overall width of 12.17 and an approved rim width of 8.0-(9.5)-10.0.
that number is parenthesis (9.5) is the width of the wheel that they used to get the overall width. for me, I have a 9.0 inch wide wheel. this means that I would subtract 0.2 inches from the overall width to get a width of 11.97 inches. Alternatively, if I ran a 10.0 inch wide wheel, I would add 0.2 inches for a width of 12.37 inches.

see the rim width range section here:
    https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tiretech/techpage.jsp?techid=198

I did this research because of the differences in manufacture's reporting on tire width. I wanted to fit 295's on the stock wheels and wanted to be sure that I could clear the UCA.

Lots of folks around here have done it with just removing the front mud flap and/or minor adjustment of the liner. I didn't want to risk having to do any modifications, plus the 35s were quite a bit heavier than the 295/70.

I'm afraid you went over my head with some of that info.:rofl:

I've forgotten what site I used, but I found a website that listed all the info in my chart. I was only concerned with the difference from the stock tire to the new tire since I was keeping the stock wheel.

essentially, the width of your wheel affects the width of the tire; regardless of what the manufacturer reports as the tire width. what I posted shows you how to correct for the differences in wheel width.

Good to hear. I have the "old" TRD Pro suspension and I would get rubbing with my 275/70/18's at full lock. It was rubbing on the Off Road skid plate (took off when I put on a bumper).

I apologize, I just realized that I had the wrong line highlighted. I don't have the 295s, I have the 285s. Not sure why I didn't pick up on that in your comment. Someone asked me about my 285s in a direct message and I came back to look at this.

I have had no issues with the 285s. I suspect I would have been fine with the 295s as well, but I thought I'd save that 9+ pounds per tire.

I was planning to get a set of the Ridge Grapplers for my '19 Pro, but I was a little torn on which size. I'm debating between the 275/70 and the 285/70. There's not a huge difference, but I don't want to have any rubbing (and I don't plan to make any suspension or liner mods). With the 285's and no fender flares, would there be overhang with tire slinging debris to the side of the truck?

Mine fit with no modifications and no rubbing. There might be a slight overhang without the flares. Here's some pics:

What about articulation? Any possibility of rub in full flex?

That could be possible, I guess. I've only done some light off pavement driving and probably won't do much more than that for a while.
