It’s a non replaceable unit. It’s an led on a board.

 

Wow. Thanks shocking. So if anything goes out you will have to replace the whole housing besides the turn signal lights?

Yeah, I just found this out myself. My high beam went out on the right and the headlight is less than a year old. REALLY pissed and not sure I would've installed them had I known this.

 

Wow. Toyota smart. So that's why they us by them like hot cakes. Lol they should at least come with at least a 3 year warranty. I'm guessing that's why the morimoto xb so high because it does have a warranty.

 

Every vehicle that come with factory leds are non replaceable units. The life on the leds is typically longer than the life of the vehicle. I wouldn’t be overly concerned about it.

Until you get into an accident or a rock goes through it. We had a Venza in the shop that the customer wanted the headlight replaced after a small accident. They didn't want to go through insurance. From memory the headlight cost 3K.

 

That's hideously crazy

 

Oem led headlights cost less than $400.
