Yikes. I don't see this working out well. Hp and trq is decent but that'll be a high rever for sure and I doubt will have very good mpg because of that, especially towing. No thanks.

Yeah I was shocked when I saw that today, its been proven with the Ford Ecoboost that the MPG isn't near what they claim when you use it as a truck. Plus looks like they are moving to stop/start on there engines, I'm not a fan. I sure hope Toyota keeps a v8 in the next gen Tundra.

Alway's heard about high reving engines " a dog that poop's fast, don't poop long" There is a reason that a Caterpillar diesel that runs about 1400 rpm's will last a million miles

looks like they wanted to recess the name in the tailgate, but couldn't figure it out. So they raised a section to recess the name. What retarded engineer thought that looked good. It looks like a rubber stamp saying " FAIL"

Just a few, more to come
While being a turbo 4cyl with a peak HP high into the RPM range, the interesting tidbit is that there is a flat torque curve with peak just off idle all the way up to about 3/4 the way to red line... A turbo diesel is similar and is fantastic for towing, I think this little 4cyl might be pretty good at towing actually, at least compared to similar HP/TQ engines in its class. Will likely rev relatively high to get going up to speed or to climb grades, but settle into a rather tall gear and use the torque to hold highway speed lugged down around 2000/2500 rpm :notsure:
