Just want to thank the Tundras.com community for helping me swap out the OEM amplifier and install a 4 channel in my non-JBL system using the factory harness and wiring. I appreciate everyone’s assistance with the diagrams, placement, wire routing and lots of pictures. It would have been enormously difficult without you all. I couldn't believe all it took were $3 brackets from Home Depot, a $14 harness from autoharnesshouse.com and $12 in cables from ebay.
The OEM speakers for some reason sound much better compared to before. I’m very happy with the results. I may upgrade the speakers later, but for now I’m really enjoying my tunes.

did you just install the amp without a line out converter, like AudioControl LC7i ?

My main interest was to use the existing factory wiring, so I used the line-level inputs on the amp.

Nice - one less piece of equipment.
