    Hey guy's,
I'm running 6112s on the 1.9 setting and drove from bama to Texas. I don't have the dd as the trd pros don't do figured I didn't need one since I'm not going over 3+ of lift. Upon arriving I noticed my front drivers cv boot had ripped. I'm 800 miles from home and the local stealership here in Texas was back ordered on boots and axles even though they said warranty would only cover the cv boot. Ive got 44k miles so I still fall in the power train warranty. I've added some more grease to the axle but should I be ok to get back home with continuing to grease her up? It's not clicking or anything at this moment. Just trying to get the wife and kiddos back home later this week.

Yeah, it'll just get messy. Just keep an eye on it. But you'd probably be better off get a replacement CV at Oreilly's for $100, and install it. I've driven 500 miles with a small tear.

Thanks, it was messy when I wipped her down pre picture! Just figured she needed some extra grease down there to accommodate the thrown out grease.

The grease that was on the boot, not on the axle itself, was thrown out. There's enough grease on the actual parts to keep it lubricated. But if you're gonna drive through wet weather, I'd be a little bit more worried.
