Hello. I have a fairly simple question. I recently removed my tail light to look at a burnt-out lamp. But as I was removing the light, a part of the assembly was dislodged. I have drawn a red circle around the part that was dislodged in the photo attached to this post. Please note this is not a photo of my light. I am just using it to show what part I am talking about. My question is how can I put this part back into the hole in the light? I tried pushing it down but it doesn't go all the way. Is there a common tool to use? I do not want to press too hard because the light may be damaged. Please note I have very simple tools and I have a very basic understanding so please advise in layman's terms. Thanks in advance!

PS. The lamp I was looking at was the backup one. It looks super fancy. Sold available only at Toyota dealerships where they will charge a lot?Untitled.jpg

TC long travel. Deaver 420 SU leaf packs.
Those pins are threaded, or it was. Look at the base nearest the light and you'll see the shoulders where you can fit a wrench. I'm not too sure how to repair it if the threads are completely toast. You could try 5 min. epoxy. What would work for sure is 3M 5200 but it requires 48 hrs @ 70* to achieve 80% cure.

The reverse light bulbs are not an exclusive Toyota part. You can get them from VLEDs or other vendors.
