Here lately, maybe the past 3 months, if my tundra sits for awhile (overnight, at work mainly) when it starts it sounds like it almost doesn't have enough juice to start and then it fires right up. It starts every time...so far, but just seems like something isn't right. I've had zero issues with it starting, and after it starts, but the way it starts worries me one of these days it's not going to start. Could my battery be ready to replace...seems like I remember people saying the factory batteries weren't great...Thanks for the help

If you can get your hands on a voltmeter, then test it first before buying a new one.

Had the same problem on my 2014 last year, swapped the battery (juice box) and haven't had any issues. The crazy part was the old battery was a Toyota part, and it had a date stamp of 2014. So, 6 years isn't bad for an OEM, but I have heard that since 2016, the batteries are lucky to hit 3 years.

2018 means your factory battery is about done. Seems like the later model trucks have batteries only lasting 2-3 years.
