I was in an Automatic Car wash yesterday, and that message popped up, in the middle of the wash tunnel. No prior issues.
Any idea on why it suddenly appears? Would moisture getting inside be the culprit?

    Any help is appreciated... Thanks

Yep, moisture probably got into the trailer plug. And if you have parking sensors, rain and snow can cause them to give an alert as well, goes away once they dry out. Does not happen often, but can. If the alert does not go away once things dry out, time to look deeper.

Thanks for your insight. I do have a Toyota Extended Warranty, but was trying to avoid a dealership visit.
