Ok guys. I've been lurking and reading and searching on here trying to find my answer for this. I'm reaching out for a little help now.

I would like to lower the rear slightly in order to give it a MORE level look but not completely level it. 1" should do that for me.
I do occasionally haul our bikes, i do occasionally pull a trailer, i do occasionally tow a small camper.
Truck has stock 20" rims with stock sized tires and stock shocks.
Any help would be appreciated on this.
    Thanks,

Have you looked into shorter shackles?

I honestly don't know what to look for as far that goes. I understand what a shackle is and so forth, But it seems everything I find out there raises the rear...

I doubt they even make shorter shackles i imagine that would mess with leaf function. Stock shackles are already short.

if you knew you wouldnt be hauling much one could pull the overload leaf? With out setup, lowering the rear just a little is tough

I searched for an answer to this question for quite a while. The SOS lowering kit is an option, but it like a 3”drop or something as it changes the rear to spring under axle. It involves cutting the exhaust I think and air bags are recommended.
Removing overload does not seem correct, people said the springs died shortly after and axle wrAp became an issue.
I read One person had custom alcan springs for “comfort” and said it lowered the rear an inch or so. As a Canadian, getting springs shipped here is a f’in joke, but would be my first choice. Would probably need airbags as well due to the soft springs (sled in the back from time to time), so bags and springs would be more then $2k.
A few hundred pounds of weight in the bed would lower the rear and smooth out the ride. Half sheet of 1/2” plate takes up very little room
Would love to hear a solution to your question though. Not a fan of the raked look and I dont wAnt to level the front.

Yes the front level kit will just add to the "wheel gap" that I already have. :(

I edited my post and suggested a chunk of 1/2” plate in the bed may be an option. It would rust over time which is not handy.
