I finally got around to installing some 2018 sequoia headlights in my ride and I’m sad to report that half of the drivers DRL isn’t lit. Has anyone had this issue or know if there is a solution to this problem? I absolutely love the new look and am hoping for a cheap and speedy fix. If not, I’ll have to send it back to the guy I bought it from on eBay and start my search for a suitable replacement. Thanks everyone!EC63B959-D796-42AF-B844-5E7EE2A51568.jpg

get your money back imo. I have seen too many "bad" take offs sold on Ebay.
Buy some oem ones from toyota dealership. At least you will get a year warranty on them.

The cost difference between the eBay ones and new is substantial. I know it’s a long shot but was hoping that someone on this forum has encountered this issue and has successfully resolved it.

unfortunately Ebay is hit or miss .I got burned few times. You do get what you pay for.
You could also get the new Morimotos. 100%LED and maybe some sale for BF next week.

I do like your morimotos but I love the sequoia lights. I reached out to the eBay seller and told him that I’d keep it for $100. He agreed, so now I at least have a very cheap headlight while I find a replacement or (fingers crossed) figure out a way to repair this one.

I don’t even know where to begin on opening the light up or what to do when it is open.

I say look for obvious signs once opened on the circuit board and start testing.

hi, i replaced my 2008 sequoia stock headlights with the 2018 LEDs and harness. Its been about 3 months and everything was fine.
Now suddenly i have had a catastrophic electrical failure. windows, AC, moonroof, automatic shifter lock, outside air temp, ABS dash lights all on or not working.
The dealer checked everything, tore apart the dash and changed the alternator but they cant find any issues.
Has anyone else had an issue with the 2018 LED conversion?
    Thanks

hi, thanks for the input. They found the issue this morning.
there were 2 wires in the telescoping steering column that had become worn, and were randomly shorting out when the steering wheel was telescoping at start up.
they couldn't determine why the issue started, but the fixed it and tested it all out.
Im glad it wasnt the headlight conversion, because i love it...thanks
