    Has anyone had an issue with the install regarding the DRL's staying at full brightness when headlights are turned on? I went with Headlight Rev. PNP wiring harness. I have a 2017 Limited and came with amber DRL's.

    Hey there my man! Glad to see a new member in the group, Welcome! :fistbump:

    For your 17' Limited, your DRLs will be like this regardless I'm afraid. Only the 1794 Edition has dimming DRLs from what we've found, all other models will have DRL like you are currently seeing I'm afraid.

    Thank you all!! Sas, I have been back and fourth with them and now it's passed the 30 day return policy.

    Here's the dialogue... At least from today

    Hello Jake and Happy New Year. Hope you and your family had a happy holiday season!

    I'm just touching base to see if your techs have come up with a fix for the "full bright" DRL's being on while the headlights are on. I actually got pulled over because the officer thought that they were illegal aftermarket lights from the angle she saw from heading the opposite direction, as she passed by. It was just a warning but I explained they were indeed OEM lights.
    There has to be some solution.
    Maybe this will help?

    Thank you!

    HR replies-
    The video looks like he has some good information, but I'm not sure what parts he's using or if they are compatible with the conversion harness we sell. Unfortunately, we don't have a way to do this. I understand how this might be frustrating. You are past the 30-day return period, but if you'd like to send the harness back, we can get you in store credit.

    Let me know if you have other questions or if you need lighting for any other vehicles.

    Ihacker makes a harness that's non dimming when you turn your lights on, the leds stay bright

    Yup, Ihacker harness. That’s what I used when I bought the 2018 led lights. Ihacker has 2 different harnesses so you can choose to keep the drls bright or have it dim when the lowbeams are turned on. I bought the one that dims them when the lowbeams turn on.

    Gdiep where did you buy Ihacker's conversion harness ? Do the DRL dim only when low beams are on, or do they stay dimmed when high beams are on also? Was it a plug n play harness or was there any wiring / pin swaps needed ?

    @MikeyLocks,

    To get someone's attention on this site, put the @ sign in front of their member name.

    I got my Ihacker harness from @iHacker. He has options and will be happy to walk your through what the choices are. DRL dims on low and high beams. Largely plug and play but there is one wire that you will need to run into the cab. And if you want the yellow DRL bulb off and only to be used as a turn signal, there is one pin out you have to do. It was generally a pretty easy install. Hardest thing was the pin out but only because I didn't have the right tool (plus this is optional).
