It’s come time to upgrade the audio in my 18 limited with the jbl package. I’m looking to keep the factory head unit but replace stock door speakers and add 2 10” subwoofers. I already have the subwoofers and box as well as a mid/high and subwoofer amp. Can I be pointed in the right direction of what I will need?

Why not replace the head unit? Add apple CarPlay, 4V-5V RCA outputs, and still have a CD player. You need a way to add a set of RCAs to run your subwoofers, or amps if you decide to power the speakers.

You need a Line Output Converter, to tap into the factory setup. They usually go for around 200 dollars, but if you upgrade the radio you don’t need it. So if you eventually plan to upgrade the radio spending money on a LOC is kind of a waste for the short term. Unless you can resell it.
